今天火腿對羅德之戰，羅德先發投手石川步前5局沒被打出安打，直到6局下2出局之後，陽岱鋼轟出陽春彈，破了石川步的「無安打」，緊接著西川遙輝、田中賢介連敲安打，攻下第2分；陽岱鋼此戰3打數轟出1發陽春砲，本季打擊率2成72。
大谷翔平此戰先發6局被擊出7支安打包括角中勝也1局上2分彈（本季第6轟），失3分，吞敗投（13勝4敗）；這場比賽現場有許多大聯盟球探在場觀看大谷翔平投球，他飆出了159公里速球，羅德石川步先發7局拿到勝投（9勝11敗）。
西武郭俊麟今天對軟銀先發，但第1局就遇到亂流，被連敲5支安打失4分，因此郭俊麟只投3局退場，被擊出6支安打，三振3次、保送2次，失4分，西武後來4比4追平，郭俊麟逃過敗投的責任，本季戰績仍是3勝7敗，防禦率5.11。
今天另幾場比賽，橫濱DeNA以3比2勝中日，廣島5比1勝阪神，歐力士6比3擊敗樂天，中止最近的5連敗，養樂多5比3擊敗讀賣巨人。
